Primary Eye Care - Trachoma

Bondi Labs and Aspen Medical joined forces to create a groundbreaking training module called "Primary Eye Care - Trachoma." This innovative simulation challenges the user with diagnosing and managing Trachoma, an eye disease that is rarely found within urban settings.

Thumbnails and Wireframes

The wireframes I developed portrayed a comprehensive consultation process, encompassing various stages such as patient introduction, personal history review, examination, diagnosis, and the formulation of a management plan. These wireframes provided the flexibility to prioritize essential features while streamlining the scenario, allowing us to defer certain elements, like patient interviews, for later implementation.

The scenario

The recording below offers an accelerated glimpse into a practice scenario where a user consults with five patients.

This immersive experience replicates a rural eye-health clinic engaged in Trachoma screening. Each patient presents with randomized histories and symptoms, challenging the user's ability to effectively examine, diagnose, and provide appropriate management recommendations for these diverse cases.

Feedback

Following the completion of the scenario, users receive comprehensive and detailed performance feedback.

This feedback assists users in identifying areas where improvement is needed and serves as a valuable tool for enhancing their skills and optimizing their abilities in the context of the simulation.
