Hi, I’m Jeremy Hamilton

I am a UX / UI designer.

I enjoy learning about users and discovering their pain points. These are opportunities to demonstrate empathy through creativity.

Elixar

  • Remote organisations often endure long wait times and high prices for experts to visit and provide assistance. Elixar leverages streaming and smart glasses to provide a faster and more affordable alternative.

Kuube

  • Kuube is a BondiLabs workplace training platform that businesses can subscribe to. The Kuube website required a new e-store and guided onboarding system to reduce the load on BondiLabs support staff.

Varsity

  • CitiPower and Powercor are two Victorian energy distribution companies. Their powerline maintenance workers require regular training with heavy equipment. To reduce the associated scheduling and equipment costs they requested a simulated alternative, delivered through VR.

Elixar - Design System

  • Atomic design underpinned my approach to developing Elixar’s design system. I built individual atoms such as buttons and arranged them into ever larger collections that eventually became templates and patterns for entire areas of the screen.

Kuube - Eye Health

  • Ramsay Health is a private healthcare provider that supports remote communities with FIFO health professionals. Unfortunately, metropolitan nurses rarely see or manage some of the diseases found in these communities. A simulator that trains and tests nurses was designed to address this skills gap.

Medherence

  • Researchers at Swinburne University wanted a platform that assists patients in taking their scheduled medication while tracking their symptoms. Their hope is to gain more data on symptoms and intervene when dosages are missed. This would provide more care for patients in times of need and reduce the quantity of PBS-subsidised medication being misused.

Housies

  • Sharehouses are in high demand and a listing can receive a thousand applications. Housies aims to reduce the load for all participants by using data to better match available housemates with available sharehouses.

Engineering Foundations

  • Engineering students at the University of the Sunshine Coast were struggling with some of the course content. A suite of apps was developed to use in class and at home to assist and engage these students.

BoxSearch

  • Australian meat exporters have been excluded from markets due to mismatches between the labels on their boxes and the contents within them. With thousands of boxes created daily QA staff are limited in their ability to inspect every box.

BoxSearch is a hardware and software solution designed to capture multiple images of every box on the production line. It analyses the images for issues, stores a record of every box, and provides immediate feedback of errors to QA staff on the line.
